HIRE Pontiac! is workforce development program for High school and Rising 8th graders. This is a paid internship program that allows students to dive headfirst into the world of STEM and related careers. Students experience experiential and classroom-based learning in STEM areas, communications, personal branding, and self development. HIRE Pontiac equips it’s student interns with essential skills for the future ensuring that they are well-prepared for their professional journeys ahead. Moreover, the program’s partnership with local businesses not only benefits the students but also contributes to the growth of the local economy.
