Confidence in Our Stories: 2023 African American Read-In

Oakland Schools is proud to host author Derrick Barnes and illustrator/author Vanessa Brantley Newton as our guests for this year’s African American Read-In. These award winning authors have a vast collection of books for readers of all ages. Oakland Schools and Pontiac READS! will provide books for IN-PERSON attendance at the Watch Site at Pontiac Library
60 E Pike St #2225, Pontiac, MI 48342. An adult is required to be in attendance with child(ren). Please arrive by 5:30 p.m.
